Delhi Congress chief Arvinder Singh Lovely has resigned from his post, citing interference from party general secretary in-charge Deepak Babaria. Arvinder Singh Lovely cited the alliance with Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party for the Lok Sabha election 2024 as one of the reasons for his resignation. In a letter to Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, Lovely mentioned that he was consistently pressured to expel leaders who were against Babaria's leadership.
