Step 1: Initiate (or even answer) a call via your iPhone’s Phone app, FaceTime, or any other compatible VoIP app (like WhatsApp or Zoom).

Step 2: During the call, swipe down from the top-right corner of the screen to open the Control Center.

Step 3: In the Control Center, locate and tap on the “Phone Controls” option, which appears only during a call, just below the Dynamic Island.

Step 4: Under the Phone Controls menu, the "Standard" or "Automatic" options are selected by default. Tap on “Voice Isolation” to enable it. Then, you can close the Control Center and continue your call as normal.

Voice Isolation will now be active, isolating your voice & reducing background noise so that your voice sounds clearer to the person on the other end.

Once enabled, you’ll notice an immediate improvement in audio quality, especially if you’re in a noisy setting. This will now be the default setting moving forward for all types of calls.
