October Vlogs

Hey guys what it is, it's ya girl Kadlac. It is vlogtober, so I'm going to bring you me without all the editing. Today is Vlogtober Day 13, (October Vlog - Autumn Vlog). I'm not really a Vlogger but I'm going to try it out. The last time I did daily vlogs was last year Vlogmas.

In this video I reflect on the struggle I have been through continue raising our daughter alone through my husband's wrongful conviction.

Marchello and I had plans of our life and our daughter's life since she was conceived. We talked for hours about her future before I even gave birth to her. Our plans came to an abrupt halt. Marchello was arrested on a case with no evidence. No finger prints, no weapon, but charged with a weapon. Po Po changing reports, ect. It's hard for a black man with no money to get justice...

Marchello was sent away with no bond. At first you couldn't bond Marchello out if you wanted to. Shortly after this angel named Michael Diciembre (Literally because Michael has passed away now), he was able to get Marchello a bond. I put all the money I could scrape up and posted his bond, by myself. This whole struggle I went through alone.

When Marchello was released he was on house arrest and stayed home and kept our daughter all day when I went to work, and once he finally did find a job, which was very difficult, he then started paying for her day care, so once Marchello lost trial, our family also lost our second income and a half of our families support system. If Marchello was a dead beat dad, then it would have been easy to recover from him being ripped out our home, but it was the exact opposite Marchello was a more than awesome father, he was (irreplaceable)...

At one point I almost lost our daughter. I knew I had to do more, I couldn't let our daughter end up in the system...

Our daughter didn't deserve to suffer for the mistakes of her parents...
