Russia attacked Ukraine's energy infrastructure overnight in what was one of the biggest missile assaults of this year. Regions such as Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia, Lviv, and Poltava were targeted with hypersonic Kinzhal and Iskander ballistic missiles. Ukrainian air defence successfully intercepted and destroyed 39 missiles and 20 drones, but some of the missiles got through and did serious damage. It was also revealed today, that an assasination attempt on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was thwarted by Ukraine’s Security Services. While all this is happening, time is running out for the Biden administration to fulfill the commitments to Ukraine it was promised when Congress passed the #UkraineAid bill.
