Vlog #52 is a true rainy-day episode. Severe storms roll through Ventura with torrential rain, thunderstorm warnings, and fast-moving cloud breaks that make filming outside a challenge. I keep the (mostly) outdoor-only vlog streak alive with a quick dash into the garden between downpours — checking plant growth, spotting fresh flower spikes, watching hummingbirds refuel, and seeing how everything responds after a serious soaking.

I also share a quick update on filming for my plant channel, storm impacts on the yard, and how unusual this cold, wet weather feels after weeks of warm sunshine. Just when it looks like the worst has passed, reports come in of a possible microburst or tornado-like wind event nearby — and I head out to confirm real damage, including a snapped tree and torn fencing.

Short, raw, and very weather-driven — this one captures what a Southern California storm day really looks like when plans get washed out but the camera still comes along.
