個性大喇喇的小乖和多愁善感的大維，曾互看不順眼的兩個人相愛了。他們預期的人生，卻在迎接第一個孩子後出現大轉變。

孩子罹患「#腎病症候群」併發腦中風，右邊的肢體失去功能。
大維每天哭著禱告；小乖則覺得，既然遇到了，就來好好面對。

為了孩子的飲食需求、為了隨時帶孩子看醫生做復健，他們從上班族轉行，開了小餐館。近百萬的醫藥費，讓大維和小乖省吃儉用，拚命工作，生病了也不敢休息…

Today, Guess Who meets David and Melody, who gave up good jobs in insurance and the civil service to open a pasta restaurant in Taitung. A few years ago, the couple never imagined they would embark on a career in catering, but when the fickle hand of fate struck, they were forced to relinquish plans of a stable yet humdrum nine to five life and take a step into the unknown. In this episode, we discover how sometimes feisty first encounters can transform into tales of romance; what unforeseen challenges opening a restaurant ignited for the family; and how, despite all the difficulties, David overcame his fears and metamorphosed from pasta virgin to spaghetti maestro.
