These air vent deflectors work on both heat or A/C systems. They fit over your air vents and are adjustable from 9-14 inches. Built in to each on is a neodymium magnet, so they will stick to metallic vents. In the event your vent is plastic or wood, or some other non-ferrous material, they also include a roll of clear double-stick tape, so they can stick on.

They bend the airflow approximately 90°, so the air is deflected. This can be great if you have an air vent that points at a spot that isn't the best, or if you are affected by drafts. They also work fantastic on floor vents, as they can send the air into the room.
