Active movement of motile Pseudomonas putida bacteria in liquid films surrounding hyphae of the fungus Cunninghamella elegans, overgrowing the surface of Potato Dextrose Agar. Movement is shown in real-time.
Images were taken with a Nikon DS-Qi1 camera mounted on a Nikon AZ100M microscope, using an AZ-Plan Fluor 5x (NA 0.5/W.D. 15 mm) lens.
