In this interview Matthew discusses what the Clos LEP are achieving whilst at the event in Goonhilly's satellite earth station.

Matthew is the communications and engagement manager at the CIoS LEP. The LEP is business-driven and our board includes 11 appointed representatives of the private sector, 3 nominated Cornwall Council representatives, 1 nominated representative from the Council of the Isles of Scilly and 1 Academic or Voluntary/Charity sector representative.

Cornwall and Isles of Scilly LEP is one of 38 LEPs across England set up following the Coalition Government's new approach to economic development. This new approach puts businesses in the driving seat and empowers the private sector to determine their own priorities.
