Pop’n Music (1) | Longplay & Attract Mode [Longplay]

Описание к видео Pop’n Music (1) | Longplay & Attract Mode [Longplay]

This is the first of at least 22 games in this series, it originally started out as a game that used 11 buttons and was wildly different to how this came out, and this first entry is very different from what we know of the series now, as this game is very primitive and easy, while the newer ones are difficult and vast with its modes, songs, and overall content.

Notes:
This game has only three difficulties, Easy (The Tutorial Mode), Normal (The Basic Mode), and Hard/Excite (The Difficult Mode), Easy has a tutorial song at the beginning, and you are forced to play as Mimi and Nyami, Normal will have the game screen occasionally be blocked by objects, like Hearts, Chandeliers, etc., that is if Normal Mode Jamming is enabled in the DIP switch settings, and Hard will have both the interruptions, and have the Pop-Kun move to different lanes on screen, and they can look different during these moments, like Wildlife, Donuts, etc.

The old italic Konami logo is shown, but the non-italic version is shown on later revisions and different regional versions.

Bonus Track and Rave are only playable either by completing certain requirements, or by turning on the DIP switches that enables them.

Rave Girl and Sanae-chan are both unplayable, but they are recolors however.

There are several regional differences, like how the Japanese version has things that are removed from other versions, like both Mary and Rave Girl having speech bubbles in their miss animations that say “My God”, but that was changed to “@*#%”, and name changes to some characters.

Unlike later games, this game heavily promotes 3 player play, with each player using 3 buttons, as this game is meant for 3 player play.
