For this first Monday, I decided to head over to Fire Station No. 22 in Bellbrook, OH for their monthly siren test. This month was the 90 second (1.5 minute) attack cycle. Before I get into saying anything, I want to thank Kurt (‪@SF57_Sirens‬) for making this system possible in the first place! This siren was decently loud as well and it also rumbled me a bit while standing under it. It sounds like halfway through the test, they switch power from AC to DC. Also, someone with FD also came outside as the siren went off, so that was pretty cool. The two sirens in Bellbrook are tested first Monday's of the month at noon, weather permitting. Bellbrook might not activate directly at noon as they have to manually activate the system for testing, so just keep that in mind if you plan on filming one of their sirens. Every few months, Bellbrook runs full attack cycles (not sure which months), with other months being a 90 second attack cycle. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this video!
