In Part 3 of 4, Adam Cronkright of Democracy In Practice (USA, Bolivia) explains the growing use of civic lotteries worldwide to put representative groups of citizens at the center of policy making. He then explains 7 lessons Democracy In Practice has learned working in schools replacing student elections with lotteries to form more inclusive student governments. Lastly, Adam suggests other democratic institutions that should experiment with lotteries, such as unions and non-profits.
