Well Worth A 13 HOUR Trip

Upper Western Michigan is one of the most beautiful places to visit. There are places where the population can double in size every summer. Leland Township is located right in the middle of the growth. Leland Township Fire Rescue delivers that to the tourist and residents year-round. Fire-fighter Zorran was able to show us two stations within his department. They were built around the same time in 2016. They have full-time staff skilled in the profession and eager to give a helping hand whenever called upon. Zorran walks us through the houses while Brandon ( shift command ) takes us through all their apparatus. They have everything from Advance Life Support Paramedics to twin tankers. Come see, for the first time, a hydrant truck but also a tower, a rescue pumper, an F550 engine, and a boat. They pride themselves in helping, and their motto is "helping to protect the peninsula."
