The flood situation has been turning from bad to worse in states like Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Bihar, Assam and Odisha. At least 41 people have been killed in UP with over 1,500 villages affected. The Rapti river in the state broken all records and is flowing nearly a metre above the danger mark because of floodwaters released by upstream Nepal. Couldbursts and landslides have left several areas in Uttarakhand cut off. Many areas in Bihar's capital Patna have been left enundated and people living their dependent on boats..and the kazaranga national park in Assam is also submerged. Here's our report.
