In this video, I share my second attempt using colour gels in portraits.
This video is in two parts, this first part has the gel creating a colourful background and also filling in shadows.

In the 2nd video, we maintain the colours but flip the background strobe to hit the back of the model. We also added a smoke machine for a more dynamic effect.

The BTS video was shot by a photographer friend Selasie.
