In this part of the tutorial, we covered the following things:
Creating a functional base unit (i.e the unit, model, movement capability)

Hello everyone. In this tutorial I will be teaching you how to create a unit from scratch in the SC2 EDITOR \o/
okay lets get started :v
you want your unit properties to look like this when adding a unit :v
Next we shall create an "Actor" a very integral part of create a unit with a model and a whole lotta other
things is an actor ;d, let's go and do that shall we
if you take a look down there, you see a Token with "Unit Name". We want to add our "Psi Templar" unit to it
to link both of them together!
Now that our things are linked, we're not done yet, we have to add a "Model" to the actor :D
A cool thing about Actors and Models is that if the editor "ID" is the same (i.e in this case "PsiTemplarModel"
both of them will automatically link up.
okay this is embarassing, but hey, if they don't auto link up, here's what we do.
Now if we take a look, we notice that the Psi Templar has both an "Actor" and a "Model".
now comes a scary part
alright sorry for the sudden cut, was just making sure. So we aren't done yet, we have to make the "Model" have
a Model, which is silly, but observe :v
Now that the unit has a model, let's hope over to the Terrain Module to see it in the Game World :D
cool, we have psi templars on the field now, question is, do they work alright?
let's find out \o/
(spoiler: they won't)
as you notice, they cannot be moved, you might ask "Why is that?"
time to give the answer :D
They have no abilities, no speeds, no stats or anything. We have not modified the base unit in anyway to make
it able to operate functionally. So let's go do that right now! :D man i use ":D" too much
These are the 3 abilities ( i can count i swear) that you need for a unit to move around. Another thing you may
ask "Zerakim, where is Hold Position and Patrol?" They are both in Stop :D, come and watch :v
That's right, you don't need to understand it too much, but just know that they are all in there :D
one thing you also saw, was the little heart thing, That is called a Wireframe, let's set that to something befitting
of the wonderful Psi Templar. You would find this sort of thing in the Actor of the unit.
Alright. Now let's give it a shot! excuse me while i find out what i did wrong ;d
found it, acceleration and deceleraton, as well as collide (expecially if you want the unit to path correctly)
as well as Plane, tons of important things im forgetting, forgive me D:
shh its okay its just my discord
alright, now that should be it (fingers crossed) let's not drag this tutorial out any longer ;D
