Rational Quality Manager (RQM) provides a comprehensive solution for Planning, Tracking, Managing, Executing, and Reporting on your Quality/Testing efforts. RQM Integrates with Rational Requirements Composer (RRC) and Rational DOORs to connect Test Cases to specific product requirements. RQM also integrates with a wide range of test automation tools such as Rational Functional Tester. This enables you to execute tests with all kinds of tools, and collect test results in a central location. RQM also provides a Command Line Adapter capability that extends integration capability to tools that are driven from the command line.

Software Quality starts with a comprehensive set of Unit Tests typically created by developers during creation of the software. We will show how the JUnit Testing Framework for Java can be seamlessly integrated with RQM to allow Java unit test execution and reporting to be managed along with the other layers of Application testing performed (e.g. Integration, System Verification, User Acceptance, etc.) through a central Test Management Console.
