DIY Solder Fume Extractor

Solder fume contains Flux which burns and it is harmful for our lungs and also causes irritation in the eyes. Soldering for long hours can be a health hazard when not done with proper equipment

In this video i have shown how to make a DIY Solder Fume Extractor or Sucker to extract the harmful fumes coming out of the solder wire when you are soldering.

this solder fume extractor can extract away harmful fumes from solder which can prevent the fumes from entering our body through breathing or through the eyes. it also has a carbon filter to filter the fumes coming out

the project is very easy to make. just 3d print the files and the electronics is very simple. i have used a 12v CPU fan of 80mm side length. i have powered it using a 3.7V Lithium ion battery. to step up the voltage to 12 volt i have used an MT3608 boost step up module. i have also added a TP4056 battery charger module.
