Some Maine leaders are calling out President Donald Trump's decision to reinstate what is known as the global gag rule, which prevents foreign groups who get U.S. funding from providing any information on abortions.

Planned Parenthood of Maine says Trump's decision prevents people from receiving essential health care. The global gag rule stops organizations from advocating or assisting in legal abortions, even with their own money, if they get any portion of their funding from the federal government.
