This is the video for our application for the Global Education Awards organized by the Global Citizenship Foundation under the "Tranformative Pedagogy" category.

Our work has been nominated for the Global Education Awards, a recognition celebrating excellence and innovation in transformative education.

Upon the experts' evaluation, the award winners are announced on Day 3 of the International Conference on Transformative Education (ICTE 2025), taking place from November 11–13, 2025.

About the project:
Impactful, Inclusive, Integrated Higher Education in Eastern Africa (3is) with Agreement number: 101126843. 3is is a Capacity Building in Higher Education project, under Erasmus+ Key Action 2, funded by the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA). It aims to strengthen Higher Education Institutions in remote Somalia, Ethiopia, and Kenya regions through an innovative capacity-building approach. The project empowers participating African universities to design impactful policy instruments and action plans, focusing on internationalization, inclusiveness, educational innovations, academic excellence, community and industry outreach, and regional integration.

Youthmakers Hub leads the Impact, Communication and Dissemination Work Package (WP) and contributes to other WPs, such as “Internationalization, Inclusiveness of people with fewer opportunities”, “Innovative Learning, Professional development of staff, and Academic Excellence”, “Community and industry embedding”, and “A more integrated higher education system in the region.” The overall budget is € 360,042.00 and it is implemented from December 2023 until November 2025.
