I have been a fan of pencils for many, many years, but mostly for sketching. However, not too many years ago, upon finding the fantastic Palomino Blackwing 602, I discovered the joy of writing and notetaking with a pencil, mostly in Field Notes pocket notebooks or similar.

I found that using a pencil as my main daily tool for a while, allowed me to more creative on paper. I felt a bit 'freer' to jot down what I was thinking, compared to using a fountain pen.

Because I do enjoy fountain pens very much, today, I alternate between pencil and pen; whatever takes my fancy for the day (or even that hour!).

I have hundreds of pencils stored away in my collection - the ones in this video are what I use regularly for sketching, writing, mind-mapping, and general noting.
