Bill Withers - Ain't No Sunshine (Cover by Octavius Womack)

Описание к видео Bill Withers - Ain't No Sunshine (Cover by Octavius Womack)

Octavius Womack is such a great singer! He made it to the vegas round on America's Got Talent, but I would love to see him on The Voice or X-Factor someday. His version of Bill Withers - Ain't No Shine was one of my all time favorite music videos to create.

As promised here is my second music video from my day with the incomparable Mr. Octavius Womack. Did I mention how great of a day this was? Bill Withers "Ain't No Sunshine" has always been an iTunes playlist regular of mine. However it's possible that now I'm going to replace that version with this version, because seriously, Octavius pretty much annihilated this song with his epic level voice.

Bill Withers is one of those guys that has done a lot of music that you might not be aware of as being created by Bill Withers. Let me shed some light on this for your own personal edification. "Ain't No Sunshine" is probably the most popular of Bill Withers' portfolio of work, with Use Me maybe creeping in at number 2, but my personal favorite Bill Withers tune has got to be "Lovely Day". It still has one of the al time best grooves no matter who uses it, and a lot of people have, notably... the song "Player's Holiday", and the lesser known "Lovely Day" version by D.J. Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince. He is also responsible for the songs "Just the Two of Us" another song covered by Will Smith when he was getting "Jiggy" with it and "Lean on Me" which almost everyone has covered.

Also, I just want to say that some musicians seem to transcend time and space with the sounds they create. Meaning that no matter how many years go by the melodies and rhythm still have a current sound to them. Bill Withers, Herbie Hancock, and Stevie Wonder are three that stand out to me as being unaffected by years, because their songs sound so awesome.

Octavius Womack, again I just want to tell you how amazing your voice is and I absolutely can not wait to film with you again!

Thank you all for watching! If you dig what's on my channel Share it around because you're support makes it possible for so much more good stuff! So lets do this together!
