"Big" G-Gauge Trains at Amherst Railroad Hobby Show 2017

This year was a good one for large scale trains at the annual Amherst Railroad Hobby Show in West Springfield, Massachusetts. Several modular layouts from the past have expanded including the Western Wiscasset & Northern and the New Hampshire Garden Railway Society. So please enjoy the "big" G-gauge trains I caught at the Big E this year.

Train 3: Two Union Pacific SD70MAC's lead military train.
Train 4: Two Rio Grande SD70MAC's lead long streamliner passenger train.
Train 5: Ex-Boston & Maine F3 leads 8-car mixed freight.
Train 6: Custom B&SR "Forney" 2-4-4T #6 leads 2-car mixed train with nice whistle.
Train 7: Two Rio Grande C-19 2-8-0's, 346 and 347, lead 16-car mixed freight train.
Train 8: Custom-painted Rockwall Canyon RR FA-1 leads 9-car mixed freight train.

Western Wiscasset & Northern 3:24
Train 9: Ride aboard 4-car mixed train behind M&N Forney #3.
Train 10: Critter diesel leads 4-car mixed freight train.
Train 11: M&N Forney #3 departs Royal Mills now with 3 cars.
Train 12: A lengthy mixed train heads the other way at Royal Mills.

Train 14: DB BR218 leads three gray coaches.
Train 15: New Haven S-4 leads 7-car intermodal train.
Train 16: DB BR225 leads three white coaches.
Train 17: Pennsylvania Railroad 2-8-8-2 "Mallet" leads 8-car military train.
Train 18: Norfolk Southern Dash-9 and three SD45's of different roads lead a 28-car intermodal train.
Train 19: Connecticut DOT P40 and Metro North P32DM "New Haven" Genesis diesels lead 7-car passenger and mail train.
