Hello and welcome back! I feel like between traveling and the various minor copyright issues I've been having w/ the YouTube Police it's been a while since we've spoke. Ireland was fking amazing, hoping to make a video or something about it. Check my IG for pics, it's a wild country. I also turned 40 two days ago so we're celebrating in this episode. I'm not old yet!

The mix this week is sick, it's all new music from April. Some of it is promos, some are from a recent Beatport haul I had and one of them is one of my new ones that's still unsigned. It's a good one though.

The movie this week is one I've been wanting to show forever. "The Giant Gila Monster," released in 1959 and directed by Ray Kellogg, is a classic creature feature that has become a cult favorite among fans of B-movies. The film follows a small Texas town terrorized by a gigantic Gila monster, brought to life through a combination of practical effects and forced perspective shots. Notably, the film's low budget meant that the Gila monster was portrayed by a real-life Mexican beaded lizard filmed in close-up to appear larger than life. Despite its campy premise and modest production values, "The Giant Gila Monster" became a commercial success upon its release, capitalizing on the popularity of monster movies during the 1950s. The film's memorable scenes and catchy theme song have cemented its status as a beloved entry in the annals of creature features from the golden age of Hollywood.
