Create a one of kind faux tree for your home! This was so simple and so effective as a statement piece in my home and it can be in yours too! I was deeply inspired by ‪@ValerieAguiar‬ and her creative process on using a large branch from outdoors and popping that sucker into a pot and hot gluing faux ficus leaves all over the naked branches! HOW COOL IS THIS!?

I was also inspired by ‪@RebuildingHomeWithJasmineRae‬ and HOW she glued the smaller branches on the "base" the "TRUNK"..... SO I had to give this technique a try as well. SO why not combine the two ideas and create my own faux ficus tree on a major budget! NOW I did only spend around $13 on the top half.. the tree itself. add on wood glue and rubber bands and any other equipment you might not have and your cost goes up.. but if you already have most of these items on hand.. GIVE THIS A TRY!

You also do not need to purchase a $30 5-Gallon vintage crock like I did, you can use a simple large $1 Dollar Tree planter and decorate it how you want!

Regardless to say I maybe got away with $43 altogether is still a deal compared to $150 that most retailers ask for!
