BYU standout steeplechaser Lexi Halladay-Lowry won a super deep 3000m race at The Dempsey in Seattle on Friday, February 9 leading three other BYU Cougars under 9:00 at the Washington Husky Classic.

Halladay-Lowry held off a challenge from teammate and miler, Riley Chamberlin winning 8:51.00 to 8:51.21 while teammate Sadie Sargent took third in 8:54.12. Stanford's Amy Bunnage was fourth in 8:54.88. NAU's Alyson Churchill ran 8:55.02 for 5th while Jenna Hutchins closed out the fun for BYU in 6th with 8:55.50.
