Papa Louie MIDI Files

Описание к видео Papa Louie MIDI Files

I can already hear you saying “What? Papa Louie? This isn’t a gaming channel!” well, not anymore. As you can see in the title of this video, I’m going to take some of you down memory lane here. The Papa Louie cooking games are some of the most popular flash games still being played after flash’s death.
Almost all of the music in these games are made using the Windows soundfont, AKA the Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth, which has been included with every Windows operating system since 1998. The instruments consist of downgraded versions of various Roland Sound Canvas, which you’ll hear whenever you open a MIDI file with Windows Media Player (Legacy if you’re on Windows 11).
I’ve spent a lot of time transcribing the individual sounds from the flash files and the mobile games into MIDIs using Ableton and Signal (MIDI editor) Shoutout to them. I pretty much know the entire standard MIDI drum kit off by heart at this point so be sure to like and subscribe for crazy projects like this.
