Project employs the philosophy and principal of the eight million Kami concept and supernatural entities inhabit all things to contemporary art forms. The performers will make use of the sound, materials and tools from around the farmstudio (Kamis/gods around that area) for the sonic performance. The audiences are also invited to participate the performance, in order to spiritually connected of the site.
Barry Yuk Bun Wan (HK/CZ) A diverse musician, Czech-based composer, sonic artist, and guitarist. Barry Wan’s music and research have been performed and published in the USA, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Sweden, Belarus, Italy, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Spain, Austria, Germany, Belgium, England, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Thailand, and Malaysia. He was awarded and featured in different international festivals, symposiums, and competitions such as FORO 2012 and 2013 in Mexico City, finalist at SIME 2015 in Lille, France, and First Prize at Musica Nova 2018.
Anders Flodin (SE) living in Helsingborg, is a trained composer at the Norwegian Academy of Music and at the Academy of Music in Bratislava and Prague. He has previously been a Senior lecturer in Composition and Music Theory at Örebro University and Department of opera, Stockholm University of the Arts and as an Assistant professor in Music Theory and Music Didactics at the University of Borås. Works since 2021 as a freelance composer.
Emelie Sjöström (SE) is a classically trained multi-percussionist based in Sweden. She is primarily working in the field of art music but has done crossover projects and tours with jazz musicians and pop artists. After finishing her studies in chamber music by Örebro University in Sweden, she has been freelancing as a musician both nationally and internationally. She is specialized in contemporary music and has been working with composers from Sweden, Hong Kong, USA, Australia, Czech Republic among others. Emelie started composing her own music during the pandemic which resulted in two solos for multi-percussion: URMI and The Raving Ones, inspired by mythological women.
