Manfrotto MT055XPRO3 055 Aluminium Tripod Review

Although not specifically marketed as video tripod, I think the (MT055XPRO3) fits the bill perfectly, especially for YouTubers or people who want to do product reviews.

This quality aluminum tripod, in my opinion, is much better than most of its cheap competitors. Watch me compare my old tripod with this new Manfrotto tripod to see what I mean.

The feature I love the most is the 90° horizontal column system. I use this all the time to do product reviews, and I feel it gives my videos a nice touch.

Especially the quick power lock system seems to be far superior compared to what I had on my old tripod. In my video, I discuss the weak point where it did break.

With the Manfrotto, I feel much safer, since there is a noticeable quality difference. Overall, it appears to be a much more sturdy and durable.

The Easy Link feature allows you to connect accessories directly to the tripod, and there are even some fluid heads that also feature Easy Link (as shown in my previous review).

The new (055 XPRO) series replaces the older 055XB, 055XPROB, and 055XDB models.

While I "only" have the base model, there are also carbon fibre versions available. However, they are considerably more pricey.
