86 Chev 1/2 ton gives up its transmission for my winter project. The truck was used 30 years ago pulling around dirt stock cars, then it retired to my farm and slowly rotted away. It is a 2 wheel drive so it was always tricky for farm use and eventually replaced by more capable 4x4 trucks. It did start and drive even after over 10 years sitting but was just too rotted to bother fixing.
