Banana Podi
A local snack made from local Nendra Bananas, dipped in Minimal Batter & Deep Fried to goodness. A slight sweet snack, it gets its sweetness from the ripe bananas. The fried batter gives it a beautiful texture, usually served as a tea time snack.

INGREDIENTS:
3 Large Nendra Bananas (Cut into Slices)
1 Cup Besan
¼ tsp of Turmeric Powder
¼ tsp of Kashmiri Chili Powder
¼ tsp Salt
⅛ tsp of Baking Soda (Optional)

Method
Take the Bananas & Cut into Slices as show in in the video
Then take a bowl add 1 Cup Besan, ¼ tsp of Turmeric Powder, ¼ tsp of Kashmiri Chili Powder, ¼ tsp Salt, whisk everything to fine batter add some water for consistency, add ⅛ tsp of baking powder this is optional you can skip this. Mix everything well and see that the batter is Medium in consistently as shown in the video.
Take a pan and add 250 ml of oil, you can use any oil and bring to heat.
Once the batter is ready, we can dip the Sliced Bananas to the batter and then add it to the pan which is now heated up.
Fry the bananas until they turns medium brown, flip them and fry on the other side.
Banana podi is now ready.
