Neuromorphic Computing | Computing Inspired by the HUMAN BRAIN

Описание к видео Neuromorphic Computing | Computing Inspired by the HUMAN BRAIN

At the intersection of advanced computing and neuroscience, is neuromorphic computing - computer chip architecture that mimics the human brain using parallel processing, machine learning, and event spiking. Believe it or not, the human brain can be more efficient, faster, and less energy intensive than today’s computers.

The neural network of our brains allows us to out-perform today’s computers in many ways. That is why neuromorphic hardware is being developed to try to mimic the parallel processing of our brains, and the unique way neurons and synapses work.

What is the von Neumann architecture? What is the difference between neuromorphic computing and deep learning? What is the future of brain-inspired parallel computing?

Ponder these questions with us. #ParallelProcessing
