Hi, welcome back to Advanced Answers, my name's Leah Brunie and I'm a Nurse Practitioner.

We're going to talk today about How long before you can work out after Botox. Well, how long you should wait to exercise after receiving Botox injection, as a general rule, is usually about four hours or in my case, never. This includes bending over or lying down. However. 24 hours is the most ideal time to wait before resuming workouts. Proteins need time to get into those muscles after they've been injected.

The facial expressions made while working out, could make your muscles contract much faster and cause your botox to wear off sooner. We want that Botox to last as long as possible.
