Second-placed Leicester City will maintain their pursuit of Liverpool after winning their last six Premier League matches.

Bottom club Watford, who parted company with head coach Quique Sanchez Flores on Sunday after back-to-back defeats, are aiming to respond and move level with Norwich City.

Demarai Gray is a doubt for Leicester City due to illness.

Leicester have won all five of their Premier League home matches against Watford, scoring 10 goals and conceding just one. It is their best 100 per cent home record against an opponent in the competition.

The Foxes can equal a club-record seven-match top-flight winning run set between December 1962 and March 1963.

Leicester could have the same starting line-up in a seventh consecutive Premier League match for the first time. Wolves were the last team to do so between August and October 2018, reaching nine matches in a row.

Watford are looking for a first Premier League victory on a Wednesday at the 16th attempt, having drawn four and lost 11 of their 15 such matches.
