Ingredients:

1kg chicken (bone-in)
2 tbsp coconut oil (or ghee)
1/2 -inch cinnamon stick
2 cloves
3 green cardamoms
1 bay leaves
1 peice stone flower (daggad ke phool)
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 black cardamom
1 star anise
200g shallots or 2 medium onion, thinly sliced
2 sprigs of fresh curry leaves
1tbsp ginger garlic paste
2 medium chopped tomatoes
3 chopped green chillis
2 tbsp smooth yogurt
1 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp turmeric p
1 tsp cumin P
1 tbsp coriander p
1/4 tsp garam masala
1 cups thick coconut milk (from a can or freshly squeezed)
1/2 cup water (or as needed)
Salt to taste

Garnish
Chopped coriander leaves
