This educational film from 1976 is titled “Playground Safety - Simple as… ABC''. The film seeks to teach school-aged children about staying safe on playground equipment. Through voice over and various shots of children on playground equipment, the film walks the audience through the “ABCs” of playground safety. The film was produced by CEF (Centron Educational Films) by Centron Corporation who was a leading industrial and educational film production company specializing in classroom and corporate 16mm films and VHS videocassettes. The company was very successful from the late 1940s through the early 1990s. The film was also made possible through collaboration with advisers Mr. J.S. Pruett Consultant Division of Instructional Materials Memphis City Schools Memphis, Tennessee and Mr. E. Harageones Elementary Physical Education Specialist Memphis City Schools Memphis Tennessee.
