This is a simple and straightforward induction cooktop with four burners available, just the right size to suit most kitchen designs.

The cooktop surface is made of ceramic glass with bevelled front and side edges. This smooth surface is easy to clean, simply by wiping it down with a damp cloth.

There are two medium-sized cooking zones on the left hand side, and a small and large zone on the right. This allows you to efficiently cook using cookware of different sizes. Because the induction cooking process directly heats up the metal in your cookware rather than the hotplates themselves, this appliance stays cooler to touch during cooking, to the point where you can often wipe up spills in the middle of preparing a meal.

The four cooking zones are managed using the touch controls found at the front of the appliance.

Simply select your cooking zone, then touch one of the nine available power levels. A boost setting is also available if you want a blast of extra power, and there’s also a timer that can automatically switch off the heat after a preset amount of time.

Another great feature of this control panel is that once you start cooking, it will actually display in kilowatts how much energy the cooktop has used this session. This can be very handy for keeping track of your household’s electricity use.

Because this is a built in appliance that needs to be hard-wired, it should only be installed by a licensed professional.
