“The comparator in the Doepfer A-119 provides a gate for the Intellijel Shifty, which is triggering 4 different sounds in a random sequence: cross-modulated VCOs, filtered noise, ring modulated bass, and samples of double bass extended techniques on the Morphagene. The bass signal is modulating various parameters via the Addac601.

Musically, I'm improvising simple melodies over a drone on the bass, moving between dissonance and tonality, and enjoying the textures and ambience being created. ”—Joel Kerr
