Nigerian-American, Maryland native Simi Liadi channels her heritage, community, and lived experiences into deeply expressive music. Rooted in R&B and expanding into Afrobeats, her songwriting immerses listeners in love, joy, vulnerability, and reflection. With emotional storytelling and a unique cultural perspective, she is poised to make a lasting impact.
Hailing from Laurel, Maryland, Sade’s Collective blends R&B with the intricate rhythms of highlife and the soulful improvisation of Jazz. Born from basement jam sessions, the group honors its collaborative beginnings while crafting a sound that feels both spontaneous and nostalgic — a fusion that respects tradition while pushing it into bold, new territory.
The Zenith Sound Series is an interactive live concert platform spotlighting underground young Black musicians in the DMV, fostering deeper appreciation for live music and celebrating the global impact of Black artistry.
