5 Fun and Affordable Things to do in Cocoa Beach, Fl on a weekend trip.

Cocoa Beach Florida is a lovely place to visit with a laid back vibe that most surf towns have. If you are visiting for a weekend , here are 5 fun and affordable activities to check out:

(1) Visit the largest surf shop in the world!- Ron Jon Surf shop has many locations but the Cocoa Beach location is the largest. It also happens to be the largest surf shop int he world. You must visit them to check out the brand for surf apparel and boards
(2) Visit the Key Lime Pie Company- They have all sorts of tasty lime favored and other treats to satisfy your sweet tooth. Don't forget to snap a photo with their awesome Key West mural.
(3) Take a photo with or pet the Key Lime Pies mascot Sweetie- a baby alligator! (DOn't worry, her jaws are taped shut)
(4) Visit the worlds only surf museum! Its opposite the Ron Jon surf shop .Its small but its completely free. Check out their selection of Kelly Slater memorabilia
(5) Visit downtown Cocoa Beach and take a photo with the bronze Kelly Slater statue.

NB- Of course you want to surf as well if you are in Cocoa Beach as it is a surfing town. We didn't get to surf when we visited because there were no waves on that day and I forgot to look at the forecast ahead of time.
Definitely check the status of the waves before you visit if you are planning on surfing.
