LA UNION | From virtual to reality

About a year ago, a friend suggested an opportunity that I decided to pursue, which is Hello Rache. It was pretty random because I had zero experience in the BPO industry, but I was thinking, why not give it a try. The training was honestly very intense. 2 weeks in preparation for the phone certification felt like 2 months. I found myself overthinking and stressing excessively, tears streaming down my face as doubts about my capabilities persisted. There were moments when thoughts of quitting crossed my mind, but surprisingly, these random strangers that I met during this journey consistently encouraged and reminded me to persevere and think of how far we've come. Initially, we were brought together by common goals and shared interests and as time goes by, these interactions blossomed into genuine friendships. For some, even more than that. We've spent almost 24/7 of everyday together, discussing about training, online gaming, weekend movie nights, and even engaging in deep conversations about life in general. Knowing them for only a month felt as though we had been friends for a decade. I started training alone and graduated with a family. Everything turned out better than I expected and it was absolutely worth it.

Its been a year after graduation and finally we meet each other in the flesh. It was an exhilarating and surreal experience. Everything flow effortlessly behind the screen. Although it was our first time meeting in person, there was an undeniable sense of closeness, as if you're reuniting with your long lost group of friends.
