GENERAL BACKGROUND…Porsche had been experimenting with turbocharging for its race cars as early as the 1960s. To meet racing homologation requirements, Porsche released a turbocharged 930 (which is the official series number for a turbocharged 911) in 1975 for sale in showrooms. It was the fastest production car available in Germany at the time.

The turbocharged 911/930 was the top offering from Porsche for its entire duration of production, which ended in 1989.

It is one of the most iconic exotic high-performance cars ever made and is now highly collectible.

THIS CAR’S UNIQUE HISTORY...The owner of this car was a very discerning collector of eclectic taste. Among the dozens of classics he owned over the years – including Ferrari, Rolls Royce, and this Porsche 911/930 Turbo. He bought it in 1991 and is was the sole owner until his passing in March 2024.
