Holland Homes: "On the Lake" remodel and build project

Welcome to our "On the lake" design, renovation and build project in Grand Lake, New Brunswick, CANADA. Steve and Jenna Holland took an existing cottage, renovated it and added an addition, transforming it into a stunning vacation home for their clients.
Jenna discusses the process in this video: the approach to adding on to a home, and the cottage core aesthetic they were looking to achieve. She also provides insight to the thoughtful design decisions: like the green kitchen cabinets.
The property is incredible, and dictated a lot of the design: including the window size and placement. Re-placing the siding with a classic cedar shake adds a timeless feel and come contrast to the contemporary lines of the home.
