Energy Sources & the Immense Impact on Health Conditions

UI Professor of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, H.S. Udaykumar, presents his lecture titled, "Connecting Iowa to the Developing World".

This talk describes a project in developing countries that has both a global impact and involvement from University of Iowa undergraduates and faculty. It connects the problem of access to energy sources in the developing world, health of women and children, and global ecological and environmental concerns. H. S. Udaykumar has been working on this project for several years and provides insights and a future outlook on how Iowa students can participate in meaningful projects to help make the world a better place.
