Influential designers from a variety of disciplines came together to share their thoughts in Ben Kelly’s 2015 symposium: Interior Design, Dead or Alive. This is Paul Gorman’s recording.

Paul Gorman is a journalist, author and commentator on visual culture. Paul will tell the story of the most significant address in the story of post-war design, fashion, lifestyle and popular culture. “Here, for more than five decades, a huge and colourful cast have alchemised cutting-edge ideas - often out of chaos – and fast tracked them directly into the mainstream.” Malcolm McLaren and Vivien Westwood’s shop at 430 Kings Road has morphed from from ‘Let it Rock’ to ‘Too Fast to Live Too Young to Die’ to ‘Sex’ to ‘Seditionaries’ to ‘Worlds End’.
