1. Prepare

DC11 : Domain Controller ( pns.vn )

DC12 : File Server ( belong "File Server" OU )

2. Step by step : Check location of the log file

DC12 : Modify the location of the log file to C:\Log

Default location : Click File Explorer - This PC - C: drive - Windows - System32 - winevt - Logs

Click This PC - C: drive - Create a new folder named Log

DC11 : Modify the location of the log file to C:\Log for servers belong "File Server" OU

Server Manager - Tools - Group Policy Management - pns.vn - Right-click "File Server" OU

Create a GPO in this domain, and Link it here... - Name : Move Logs - OK - Right-click "Move Logs" - Edit...

Computer Configuration - Policies - Administrative Templates : ... - Windows Components - Event Log Service :

Application - Control the location of the log file : Enable, Log File Path : C:\Log\Application.evtx

Security - Control the location of the log file : Enable, Log File Path : C:\Log\Security.evtx

Setup - Control the location of the log file : Enable, Log File Path : C:\Log\Setup.evtx

System - Control the location of the log file : Enable, Log File Path : C:\Log\System.evtx

Start - cmd - gpupdate /force

DC12 : Check Logs at C:\Log

Start - cmd - gpupdate /force --- Restart

Click File Explorer - This PC - C: drive - Log
