🎣✨ Al Baik Style Fish Fry – Crispy, juicy & full of flavor, just like the famous Al Baik!
Boneless fish fillets are marinated in a flavorful Masala coated with a light batter, and fried to golden perfection.
As Seafood Season is Round The Corner

Crispy Al Baik Style Fish Patel Restaurant Style
Ingredients:
500 gms boneless fish fillets (surmai, basa, or your choice as per availability)
1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
1 lime juice or vinegar
1 tsp Green chilli paste
1 tsp Aromat pd or Chicken Powder or half chicken cube
2 tsp Tandoori masala or Garam masala pd
2 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
4 tbsp cornflour
2 tbsp curd
1 tbsp hot sauce or chilli sauce
1 tsp mustard sauce
1 tbsp mustard oil
½ tsp salt (adjust)
Breadcrumbs or panko (for coating)
Adjust water or milk to mix the batter well
Oil for deep or shallow frying

Method:
1.Cut the Fish Fillets as Shown in Video
2.Marinate Fish: Wash and pat dry the fillets.Put curd , lime juice, ginger-garlic paste, tandoori masala,red food colour, Kashmiri red chilli powder hot sauce, mustard sauce,salt, Aromat pd and Mustard oil. Then put 4 tbsp Corn flour .Put Milk or Water to mix it well .Leave for 20–30 mins.
3. Coating: Dip marinated fish in batter → coat with breadcrumbs/panko. Press lightly so it sticks.
4. Frying: Heat oil (medium-high). Fry fish until golden brown and crisp. Drain on Strainer.
5. Serving: Sprinkle little chaat masala / lemon juice. Serve with dips , fries, and coleslaw just like Al Baik.

✨ Chef’s Tip (Secret Al Baik Twist):
Add 1 tsp of chicken powder or Aromat powder in the batter for that exactTaste

Green Tartar Sauce Recipe
As I tasted in Patel Restaurant:

Ingredients:
1 cup hung curd (dahi) – strain in muslin cloth for 1–2 hours to remove extra water
2 tbsp finely Chopped pickled Veggies
1 tbsp finely chopped onion or shallots
1 tbsp fresh coriander or dill leaves (finely chopped)
1 tsp lemon juice (adjust as per taste)
½ tsp mustard sauce (optional, for depth)
Salt & black pepper to taste

Method:
1. Take hung curd in a bowl.
2. Add pickled veggies, onion.
3. Mix in lemon juice, mustard sauce, salt, and pepper.
4. Chill for 30 mins before serving.
