FINDINGS:

FOL: Epiglottis, aryepiglotic folds, piriform fossas and vocal cords appear normal.

OESOPHAGUS: Multiple interrupted columns of grade III oesophageal varices are seen at the lower half of the oesophagus. Second sessions of band ligation done by 6 applications Boston Scientific band ligator.

STOMACH: Features of congestive gastropathy is noted at the body and fundus of the stomach. Multiple erosions are seen at the antrum.

DUODENUM: The bulb, post-bulbar area and second part appear normal.

BIOPSY: Not taken.

COMMENTS: Interrupted columns of grade-III oesophageal varices, congestive gastropathy with antral erosion.

THERAPEUTIC INTERVENTION: Second sessions of Endoscopic Variceal Ligation (EVL) done.

ADVICE: Review endoscopy and possible EVL/ Sclerotherapy after 2 months
