Dr. David Bauer has a Ph.D. from Union Theological Seminary (Richmond, VA). He is currently the Dean of the School of Biblical Interpretation at Asbury Theological Seminary where he has taught since 1979. Among his publications are Inductive Bible Study: A Comprehensive Guide to the Practice of Hermeneutics (Baker, 2011), Essential Bible Study Tools for Ministry (Abingdon, 2014) and A Theological Introduction to Mathew’s Gospel (IVP, 2015). He also has published articles in the Asbury Theological Journal, Catholic Biblical Quarterly, and Interpretation among others. These lectures were video-taped and made available by Ted Hildebrandt for https://biblicalelearning.org.
