ILCA Crab Claw Regatta / District 11 ILCA Laser Championships on September 14-15, 2024. The regatta will be governed by the rules as defined in the Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS) and the International Laser Class Association (ILCA) rules.

The regatta is open to ILCA 7, ILCA 6 and ILCA 4. A minimum of five entries is required for a fleet to be given a start. All competitors must be current members of the ILCA-NA or their respective National Laser Class Association. Competitors under the age of 18 must have their Release of Liability signed by a parent or guardian. Access and print the waiver here. Submit a completed waiver at check in. No registration will be considered complete until all fees, required forms and signatures are received.

The entry fee is $90 USD. For entries and payments not received by Saturday, September 14,
2024, a late registration fee of $15 will be applied. ILCA-NA Members receive a 50% discount on the
entry fee when they register. Non-class members have two options to register: 1. enter the regatta by paying 100% of the entry fee or 2. become a class member and enter with the discounted fee.
Non-members can join the class by completing registration online at
https://ilcanasailing.org/about-joining. Entry and payment must be made by the cutoff date to avoid
the late fee. Registration closes at 0930, September 14, 2024.

Seven races are scheduled for this regatta. The completion of one race will constitute a series for the purpose of this regatta.

ILCA 7 is a Red class insignia on a white field.
ILCA 6 is a Red class insignia on a green field.
ILCA 4 is a Red class insignia on a yellow field.

In addition to the courses detailed in the SSA NoR/SI Addendum B, a trapezoid course will be an option (details to follow).

The starting line will be between a staff displaying an orange flag on the race committee signal vessel and the course side of the starting mark, or a staff displaying an orange flag on another race committee vessel.

Awards will be presented to competitors placing first through third in all fleets, with the number of awards adjusted to suit the number of competitors sailing in each fleet (i.e., one award for 1-5 entries, 2 awards for 6-10 entries, 3 awards for 11 or more entries.
